A Look into the D23 Expo – Ultimate Disney Fan Experience

Yesterday I got to head inside of the D23 Expo, and boy was it amazing. If you are not familiar with D23, it is the ultimate Disney Fan experience! You get a behind the scene look into Disney music, pixar creation, authentic costumes such as the Jack Sparrow costume from Pirates of the Caribbean, and a look into upcoming movies! Of course there is much more, such as the giant Perry bus, from Phineas and Ferb! I attended the biggest event of the weekend (in my opinion), with some of Disney’s biggest heroes:

“Rich Ross, chairman, The Walt Disney Studios; Sean Bailey, president, production, The Walt Disney Studios; John Lasseter, chief creative officer, Walt Disney and Pixar Animation Studios; and Kevin Feige, producer and president, Marvel Studios, presented a look at The Walt Disney Studios’ upcoming film slate.” John Lassiter spoke throughout the event, and I have to say that he seems like such a funny down to earth guy! He came wearing a Hawaiian shirt with sport coat (the sport coat was his wife’s idea – lol). I would have some of my own pictures, but we had to check all cameras and phones.

The was such a fun experience because the arena was large and I had a floor seat, not too far from the front. There were so many movie stars that came and helped introduce some of the amazing films that are taking part in. I am so excited about some of the upcoming projects that Pixar and Disney are working on. I got to see some never before seen footage into some of the following movies. It’s so tough to say which ones I’m most excited for, but the movie spin off of Cars, titled Planes, looks so cute! By far the most exciting for me will have to be Brave. It is the first Pixar movie featuring a female role! It takes place in Scotland (my heritage) and just plain looks amazing. I got to watch a clip of the movie, but have to keep it secret! Shh! Stay tuned for the release of these awesome movies. By the way – the sound in the arena was incredible.

  • The Odd Life of Timothy Green is played by Jennifer Garner. I love this actress so much. I love the series tv she made way back. And her movies are really awesome.

  • It will be a great time for our kids to watch this event on Disneyland. It will somehow help widened their imagination and be a creative one when they grow up. This event is inspired by lot of film directors who personally design and was behind all of this idea. I just wished I can be on that event.

  • What I like most on Disney creation is the video and picture creation by which pixels appear to be of good quality made from a high generated material and gadgets. All of it’s film and production shows had been keenfully examined and edited.
