Holiday Wreath and Door Decorations
I decided to get a little more crafty than usual with my holiday wreath this year. I went to Michaels on Thanksgiving and shopped some of their awesome sales, using my 30% off entire purchase coupon. I got a lot of picks and ribbons and a grapevine wreath, to make something fun! I have a lot of red and white, candy and gingerbread themed decorations, so I decided to make a wreath to match. I got my ideas from a pin on Pinterest.
Now, my local craft stores didn’t have as cute of picks (like the cute candy ones), so I had to make due with what we had.
Then my mom and I thought we’d tie the door garland in with the wreath, by adding the candy canes and more ribbon. I think it’s very festive, and I’m pleased with how it turned out. When I am back on my own again, I will likely add a wooden “L” for Lyon, to the wreath.
