How to Save OVER 50% Shopping Without Coupons at Grocery Outlet

I have got quite a treat for you! I have discovered a way to save over 50% on your groceries and household products, without the use of coupons! I have been shopping at Grocery Outlet for several years and love it! Now I get to give one lucky Clever Housewife reader a $50 Grocery Outlet gift card, to see what kinds of savings you come up with!

Grocery Outlet is one of those stores that you go into and often don’t know what great things you are going to find. Each store is independently owned, and is often owned by a married couple. They carry some of the same things, but each store has different finds, and each time you go, they will have some different things. There are some staples that you can always count on, but they get some really fun items! I love to just go into the store and browse around, looking for items that they have reduced prices on, and just unique items that are hard to find at good prices. Grocery Outlet has a variety of Organic foods and brand name products. When something is about to reach an expiration date, they will sometimes mark it down to incredible prices, which you will see in my shopping trip below.

Grocery Outlet provided me with a $50 Gift Card to go crazy and see how much I could save. A fun thing that Grocery Outlet does is they will list their price, and the common price you can find that item at elsewhere. Then at the bottom of your receipt, they circle your savings! I was in luck because this past week, Grocery Outlet had their own $5 off $25 purchase coupon that I added to my check out. Here’s what I found:

2x Tropicana Apple Juice, 59 oz marked down to $.50!!
Kraft Simply Sour Cream, 16 oz $.47!!
Annie’s Graham Snack Crackers $1.69
Carpet Cleaner $.99!!! (Carpet cleaner is so pricey elsewhere)

2x Hillshire Oven Roasted Turkey 2/$.97, elsewhere $3.29!

6x Kraft Mild Cheddar Shreds, 3 oz 6/$.97 – This would equate to about $.86/lb!!! I believe the best if purchased by date was the date I purchased. I stick them in the freezer though, and we’re good to go!

Gain Laundry Detergent, 91 oz $5.99
Eraser Block Pads $.99 (These are similar to Magic Erasers, which are a must-have with kids)
4x Betty Crocker Loaded Mashed Potatoes $.79 each
Turkey Bacon $1.27!!

Spring Hill Bacon $1.99

Ore-Ida Sweet Potato Fries $4.99 – YUMMY!
1 Pillsbury Biscuits 2/$.97
2 Pillsbury Crescents $.47 each
2x Seedless Strawberry Jam $.99 each

Pomegranate Blueberry Juice, 100% $1.29

  • I was just at Grocery Outlet the other day. I found myself a contigo water bottle with lid clip, sealing sip lock, flip cover to keep the sipping part clean and a compartment on the back side for a key and money. Perfect for being on the go. Regularly priced close to 20.00. I got it for 4.99. LOVING IT EVEN MORE being that I saved so much on it. I love Grocery outlet.

  • I would love to win this! Just got milk from there for at least a $1 less per gallon than other stores!

  • I LOVE Grocery Outlet! These were not necessarily this week but the best deals I have gotten were 1 lb Polly-o mozzarella cheese, pack of tofu, gallon of milk, etc for $.25 each! My husband and I are addicted to that store! We go 1-2 times per week (and if it were closer, I’d probably be there every day) looking for the close date markdowns. Oh and my husband liked getting the cajun shrimp alfredo Stouffers dinner for two meqls for $1 each (like $5 each elsewhere I think)

  • I found Advil for $3 cheaper than the big chain stores. Love this store! Thanks!

  • I like Grocery Outlet but it can be hit or miss in my city. They do have great deals on wine though ๐Ÿ™‚

  • I have not been in quite awhile but when I moved out of my parents house, I shopped there quite frequently. I would get everything from groceries to shampoo at great prices.

  • I’vealways shopped Grocery Outlet first. Besides knowing that, when I find something there it will be about half price, I’m floored that so many times I can get everything there that’s on my grocery list, so I don’t need to go anywhere else. Very cool!

  • I love grocery outlet. When we went last month my savings was over $80.00. I need to take a trip back there after payday.

  • I found organic beef $1.99 lb. I always find amazing cheeses for about 1.00, fruit, chicken tenderloins for about 1.00 lb., cocoa nibs, baking supplies, nuts, dried fruit, spices, organic vanilla…so many good deals. I go in with a plan!! Always!!!!

  • Been shopping at Grocery Outlet for years , love it, they have really good deals.

  • I found Axe deodorant on sale there a few times for under $2 and that’s my hubby’s favorite, so I stocked up on all they had!

  • Lunch meat, cheese, frozen pizza’s, affordable milk, eggs, and bread. I love the grocery outlet. I’ve been shopping there for over 20 yrs.

  • I have found cereal b1g1f which made it 99cents a box. Love the coffee creamer deals and yogurt is a must have from there.

  • The best deal I found was packeges of Kraft shredded cheese B1G1 free and they worked out to be $1 per piece!

  • Never heard of this store but, i live in New Hampshire don’t think we have one around here : ( Sounds like good deals….you guys are lucky : )

  • Last year my local Grocery Outlet had bareroot roses CHEAP! My first trip to one of they stores was years ago when I went to the Grocery Outlet in Marysville on my way home from a training, because I read in the Sac Bee that they had bought the inventory of an online wine retailer and had huge bargains on wine. Sadly, the wine selection was mostly gone, but I found so many other bargains that I tend to stop in whenever I get the chance.

  • There are so many cool finds at Grocery Outlet! I bought my favorite pair of jeans there for $12. I found some granola snacks for 79 cents (that sell at the other stores for $3.79!) boy, did I stock up on those!

  • I haven’t shopped there in a while but I will be going soon. I’d forgotten how much you can save there. Thanks for the heads up and great giveaway.

  • I love Grocery Outlet! I got some of my kids favorite cereal on sale for $1.00 a box. I loaded up on it.

  • I have actually never been to the Grocery Outlet, but I used the store locator and discovered there is one close to my house!! Yay!

  • I get my shampoo and conditioner there. I often found some food and some wine.

    Thanks for the opportunity,
