Franklin Sports Giveaway: Badminton, Bean Bag Toss and Target Toss

Approaching Fall and Winter could mean that you are couped up in the house with hyper children, and not nearly enough to keep them entertained. Or your Fall could be shaping up to be like mine – HOT! I have some things that are sure to keep you and your kids entertained whether you still have your warm weather, or you are couped up inside. Franklin Sports has some class traditional games that can be enjoyed by all ages.

I must admit that I have always been a big fan of a good ol’ bean bag toss. I even recall learning to sew my own bean bags, as a youth, and donating to children, for them to play with. The Franklin CHUX!™ Bean Bag Toss is fabulous as it can be played indoor or outdoor, and is easy enough to set up. The game comes with 6 bean bags, rules, assembly instructions and carrying bag. The game is held up by PVC pipe and can take down to fit in it’s own carrying case. The kids immediately set this game up in the family room and had at it. I love to see how far I can get from the target, and still get my bean bags into the holes. Rather than open holes, there are mesh pockets that catch the bean bags once they make it in. The target is made of a sturdy material that folds up nicely.

Another great game that can be played inside or out, is the Franklin Soft Tip Target Toss. The Soft Tip Target toss comes with two rings and two target tosses in two different colors. You can make this a competition game with each player getting their own ring and color, or as part of a relay or obstacle course. We added this game into an obstacle course we set up for the kids. They had to get as many tosses into the target as possible. The tips are soft and slightly weighted, to help prevent them from rolling all over the place. This game also comes with it’s own carrying case. I just found that the rings can be a bit tricky to get them to stay in a circle. With a little finagling I was able to get them to stay open wide enough to play.

The last game I wanted to share with you is the Franklin Advanced Badminton Set. Who doesn’t love a good game of Badminton? This set comes with poles, net, clips, racquets, tape, strings and carrying case. Everything you need to set up a Badminton court, comes in this set. We set the net up across our background and the kids had a blast taking turns hitting the birdie back and forth. I think we all could use a little practice to keep the birdie from landing on the ground so much! While this game also comes with a carrying case, you will want to make sure the adults are in charge of setting up and taking down as there are small pieces the children could lose.
