Ham and Bacon Chipotle Sandwich on Wonder Smartwhite Bread

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Wonder bread for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.

With school in full swing, and the need for creating tasty kids’ lunches on the rise, I decided to take matters into my own hands. I am one of those moms who won’t give her kids just any bread. I am a firm believer in getting as much fiber and nutrients into my kids when I can, so I typically go with whole wheat bread. I was recently given the opportunity to test out Wonder bread‘s Smartwhite bread, and I was impressed with what I found. The Smartwhite bread has all of the fiber that 100% whole wheat bread has, with the same great taste and texture of white bread that kids often love.

Because my kids, and my others, have peanut butter & jelly, and ham & cheese sandwiches most often during the week; because they’re easy to pack for school, I decided to make a fun new sandwich for a weeknight dinner. I tried to shop with my kids in mind, and think of items they would enjoy. I came up with a delicious Ham and Bacon Chipotle Sandwich on Wonder Smartwhite Bread.

I simply toasted two slices of bread, for each sandwich. I spread butter on one slice of bread and a Marketside Chipotle Ranch sauce/dressing on the other slice. I found this in the produce section at my Walmart. If your kids don’t like any kind of spicy at all, you can use regular ranch.

I fried up some bacon, while laying a couple of slices of ham on top of the buttered piece of toast. Then I topped the ham with the cooked bacon, and a slice of mozzarella cheese. Voila! We all enjoyed this tasty sandwich!

If you are ever out of sandwich ideas, or curious about how nutrious your sand give The Sandwich Wonder-izer a try! It is a fun tool that allows you to create a custom sandwich.
