Pony Royale Princess Ponies and Dressing Carousel

Pony Royale Princess Ponies and Dressing Carousel

If a little girl were to dream up the perfect pony, I think I have an idea of what it just might be like. In the land of Pony Royale, lives 12 Princess Ponies who dress for royal parties and games. These ponies are indeed princesses, with a magical jewel on their crown just to prove it! With the ability to change their hair and accessories, the Princess Ponies can look just right for every royal occasion.

“Once upon a time in a far away land…
…something wonderful and magic began”

It all began with the birth of one special princess. This pony was born with a birthstone jewel on her crown. She was the first princess to join the land. Every month following, a new princess was born, with a new birthstone jewel on their crown. There became a princess pony for each month of the year; representing each birthstone. The land then became called Pony Royale. You can watch a video of The Story of Pony Royale.

These beautiful princess ponies are different than any other pony I have seen because of their ability to swap hair color, saddle, headpieces and other accessories. Each pony has a name, and they come with two hair color choices. The hair at the pony’s mane and tail are easily removed by lifting up. The hair is attached to a small plastic piece that slides in and out of open slots in the appropriate places on the pony’s body. There are also some small notches for the accessories to slide in and out.

With every pony you collect, the ponies can trade hair and accessories. This is definitely a fun added feature of playing with ponies. I first previewed the Pony Royale ponies at BlogHer, this Summer. I was able to bring one home for Little Girl to play with, and she loves it! I was excited to receive a couple more ponies so she could really grasp the trading aspect. The only downfall to owning one pony was that the extra pieces/hair would occasionally get lost. My daughter is 3, which is the minimum recommended age for the Princess Ponies. I think she is definitely old enough to play, but having a baggy or something to keep the extra pieces in, might be a good idea. Older girls may even enjoy displaying the ponies on a shelf , when not in play.

I recently acquired the Dressing Carousel, which solved my problems of losing pieces!!! The dressing carousel looks just like a carousel when closed, but opens up to look like a giant closet, which holds the ponies’ extra hairpieces and accessories! This is the ideal storage place for all of your pony’s needs.

The Pony Royale website has some neat features as well. You can go on and find your birthstone (or your daughter’s), build your stable, learn about the ponies, and watch royal videos. The Pony Royale toys can be purchased on Amazon, ToysRUs, Meijer and Target.

One lucky reader will receive two Princess Ponies and a Dressing Carousel!! This giveaway will end at 12:01am ET on 11/16. Entries will be verified. The winner will be contacted via email and announced in a blog post. To enter, fill out the rafflecopter form below.
