Watching the tree lighting and holiday parades with my family
My husband and I started a tradition of a trail of m&ms from the kids bedrooms to the Christmas tree on Christmas morning. It’s not really a big thing but our kiddos love it. This year we are going to start a new one as well. We will have a box of items for Christmas Eve: a new movie to watch, popcorn, snacks, and new pajamas. It’s going to be fun.
Getting excited for the Christmas season…
ho, ho, ho, it’s getting close to Christmas… :)))
Decorating & baking with the kids!
Love decorating and baking for the holidays.
I have a lot of favorite traditions, but I would have to say my all time favorite would be making a paper chain of red and green as a family while we watch family movies. It is good family time.
On Christmas Eve, we lay down 3 large giftbags with each of our pets’ presents in them, and let all 3 go at it at once. Watching them pull their toys out and looking to see what the others got is priceless 🙂
Delivering Christmas cookies
favorite family holiday tradition is buying a new tree ornament each year to add to the collection… been a bit, though, as my family has dwindled to me.
Decorating the tree and making crafts with the all my kids teen and toddlers.
We “camp out” as a family, in the living room, with the Christmas lights on for Christmas Eve. My husband & I tell stories of our childhood before we go to sleep. Our kids love it and so do we! 🙂
Putting ornaments on the tree together
my favorite tradition is going to the candlelight service at church on christmas eve.
I like visiting family on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, spending time with each other, opening presents, sharing stories, and having good food.
My favorite holiday tradition is opening up Jammie’s on Christmas Eve and listening to my dad read the Christmas story from the bible.
Welcoming the Christmas season by drinking Christmas-y coffee beverages, like peppermint mochas! And watching Christmas movies. And exchanging gifts!
It may not seem exciting but every year I starting round Thanksgiving I buy egg nog. Then once a day my daughter & I have a small glass using the beautiful vintage Holiday glasses passed down from my parents. I grew up using them and drinking egg nog 🙂
So many, i love decorating with the kids and making homemade little presents
I love doing advent calendars.
I love making cookies and candy with my family. Thanks for the chance to enter.
Decorating the tree.
Baking and making ornaments are our favorite family tradition.
I love watching Christmas movies with my huge mug of hot cocoa.
My favorite tradition is going to our local city’s tree lighting ceremony.
Dinner with my entire family is my fave tradition, nothing can beat it.
All of them, seriously.. I love every tradition and minute of the holidays with family. I guess some of my absolute favorites would be decorating the inside & outside and baking cookies with the kids.
New pajamas and calling the NORAD Santa Tracker hotline and checking the website on Christmas Eve to find out when Santa is expected in our city.
Putting up lights all over the house and setting them to music. The kids love it.
Watching my grandchildren open their presents and having a great meal together.
Eggnog with the hubby on Christmas eve after the kids go to bed 🙂
Seeing family-it is what Christmas is all about!
Christmas morning peach French toast
spending the night at my parent’s house to get up early and open gifts
One of my favorites is cuddling up with my family and watching Christmas movies.
