Making sure your kids have a balanced diet can be a bit of a task at times. It may be easier with some children, and more difficult with others. Or you may be one of the lucky ones who has children that will eat whatever you put in front of them! I have a bit of a mix among my 4 kids, with my oldest being the most adventurous when it comes to diet. He will try nearly everything, at least once. I don’t typically have to fight with him about eating his fruits & veggies, among the other foods I put on his place. My twins are a bit trickier. They will eat most fruits. They both love mandarin oranges, while only one of them likes strawberries, and the other likes watermelon. For some reason, I can’t seem to get my kids to eat bananas, which just blows my mind! My oldest will eat them if I allow him to spread peanut butter on it, but that’s about it. The twins’ taste buds are a tad different from one another. One of the twins will eat most veggies; even though sometimes begrudgingly. The other twin though; it’s like pulling teeth to get him to eat his vegetables! You’d think we were asking him to swallow a knife!
Then there is my youngest. I find her to be a little backwards in that she will eat most vegetables, but no fruit! If I peel an apple and allow her to dip it in caramel, then we’re good. She is a tough one, and very stubborn too! It’s not easy to talk her into eating something that she is adamant about not eating. If you stick fruit on her plate and it touches another food item, then forget about the entire meal altogether! I find it fascinating how each child is very different and unique in their own way.
My point is that among my 4 kids, I can see where their diets may be lacking certain nutrients that they could benefit from. That’s where come in! These vitamins are a fantastic supplement for a child’s diet – whether it be healthy already, or not so much! The nice thing about these vitamins, other than the goodness one can obtain from them, is that the kids enjoy them. They love the taste, the texture, and the shapes! My kids actually remind ME to give them their vitamins. My memory can be spotty at times so it helps to have their reminders. Just be sure to put the vitamins away so the kids don’t try sneaking an entire bottle!
Next up on my grocery list is to purchase a bottle of the L’il Critters Gummy Vites Sour! I’m sure my kids will love these! Both kinds of Gummy Vites come with portions of Vitamin A, B, C, D3, E, and Ch! My favorite part is that these vitamins have naturally sourced colors & flavors! So much goodness packed into one little gummy! I’d like to hear whether or not you supplement your child’s diet with vitamins? How do you remember to give them all of the nutrients they need?
