Jumpstart Your Day with Honey Bunches of Oats Morning Energy

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Honey Bunches of Oats. All opinions are 100% mine.

For as long as I can remember, Honey Bunches of Oats has been my oldest son’s favorite cereal. I find this a bit unusual because most kids love the sugar cereals, which I am not a huge fan of. No complaints from me though, because I too love Honey Bunches of Oats and think it is a healthier option than some of the other popular cereals. Now there is a new cereal in town: Honey Bunches of Oats Morning Energy. Packed with whole grains, protein and fiber, this cereal is a great way to start your morning and get fueled for the day. I am an advocate of starting your day with protein because I think it sets your metabolism and energy for the day.

The nice thing about the new Honey Bunches of Oats Morning Energy is that you don’t compromise great taste. You still get the delicious granola clusters, and with the option of two flavors – Cinnamon Crunch and Chocolatey Almond Crunch. My kids enjoy both flavors but can’t deny a tasty cereal with a touch of chocolate!

I had my oldest and my youngest complete a taste test with both flavors. My oldest enjoys the Chocolate Almond Crunch more because he is a huge chocolate lover. Not only are there chocolate chunks, but the clusters seem to have a touch of chocolatey flavor to them as well. My daughter said she loved both flavors the same. I tell ya one thing, it was sure hard for me to resist eating both boxes of cereal when I opened them up and could smell the sweet chocolatey goodness, and the swirling cinnamon flavors in the air. Mmmm!

To stay up to date with Honey Bunches of Oats, be sure to follow them on on Facebook and on Twitter.

Which of the two new flavors are you most excited to try?

  • I am most interested in trying the Chocolate Almond crunch variety, but that is primarily because it has chocolate, which cinnamon can hardly compete with. They both sound great though.
