How Huggies Little Movers Diapers Inspired Me To Be a Fun and Flexible Mom

“I participated in an Influencer Program on behalf of Mom Central for Huggies. I received a product sample to facilitate my review and a promotional item to thank me for participating.” We all know how important routine and structure is for toddlers and kids, however read how I have been inspired to make a few changes to be add a little more fun and flexibility to my parenting.

I recently received a package of Huggies Little Movers, available at Target, for review and I started to take a look at them to learn about some of the new features of the diapers. The first thing that I noticed is how well they work at securing leaks and keeping toddlers nice and dry! This is because Little Movers feature an Improved Leak Lock(R) design that provides unbeatable protection and security. Huggies Little Movers also have new Double Grip Strips which provide double the grip for a secure fit! These fantastic features will keep toddlers nice and dry and their diapers securely in place all day!

To me, these features where fitting with the type of mom I am. I work hard to give my kids all of the security, protection and structure needed to help them grow into healthy and productive citizens. I make sure to cook healthy meals, get them to school on time, do homework and chores, and get to bed at a decent hour.

But then I noticed something different about New Huggies Little Movers diapers. While they provide all of the structure and protection needed from a diaper, they also allowed for some flexibility to give busy toddlers the room to move and explore. This is because Huggies Diapers have a unique stretchy SnugFit waistband for even more flexibility and Little Movers have a specially contoured shape that stays in place as your toddler moves and plays.

This was a bit of a “lightbulb” moment for me! I decided that I want my parenting style to be like New Huggies Little Movers Diapers… Structured and protective where I need to be, while still having enough flexibility to let my kids explore and have fun!

This is the policy I am going to try to adopt a little more of in my parenting. I am going to be structured when I have to be, but give the kids a little more flexibility wherever I can. I think that by doing this, I can keep them doing the things that we “need” to get done, but enjoy some silly, fun, goofy, memories that will make a lasting impression! I think that allowing a little more flexibility will make life more enjoyable for my own little movers and will give me a chance to better appreciate the little moments with them!

Here are a few of my goals, to help me do this:

* Say YES more
* Throw the routine out the window some days
*Enter into their imaginary world by joining their imaginary games
* Get dirty with them
* Laugh sincerely with them
* Let them stay up late some nights
*Smile for no reason, when they are around
* Snuggle in bed
* Tell them silly jokes
* Run through the sprinklers with them
* sing together
* dance more

After all…. They are just kids!
