Gift Guide Ratings:
Poor (or Budget for it), Average, Good, Excellent

Availability: Good- available nationwide starting 10/14/14

Price: Average – $29.99 from Amazon

Durability: Excellent- I think one of the best things about this game is that it has lots of features that make it durable for many hours of entertainment. Part of this is because the game is constantly changing, due to the fact that the climate in the game changes with each season. There are also so many varieties of animals to choose from, that there is a lot of ways to keep the game interesting. The game also expands as you play, build your village and meet new neighbors.

Educational Features: Good- Petz Beach has partnered with Encyclopedia Britannica to bring your child actual facts about animals, insects and plants while playing the game.

Interactive Features: Excellent- This game has some exciting interactive features. It has voice and facial recognition that allow users to interact with their pets and teach them tricks. It also has the option to connect with friends through the game, and meet with them in the village or at the park.

Value for Money: Good- because this game offers so many different options, levels and ways to play, I feel that it is a good value for the price.

Age Range: 5-8 year olds. I think that this game would be most enjoyable for 5-8 year olds. However, it does allow you to connect with friends through the game, which may continue to make it enjoyable for up to 10-12 year olds if they have friends to connect with.

Who I would buy it for – I think this gift would be ideal for a girl around 7 years old who enjoys animals and interacting with friends.
