2014 Holiday Gift Guide: A Gift For

I still remember being 11 years old and being beyond excited to be able to wear makeup, but not quite old enough to be allowed. So when my niece recently turned 11, I spent a long time thinking of the perfect “pre-makeup” gift to make her feel like the amazing, grow-up young lady that she has become.

After a lot of thought, I came up with the perfect gift for her… a set of Neutrogena body and facial products. I bought her a fun patterned makeup bag, and filled it with a nice puffy loofa along with the “pink grapefruit” line of skincare products from Neutrogena.

I gave her a bottle Neutrogena® Body Clear® Body Wash Pink Grapefruit and some varieties of Neutrogena® Pink Grapefruit Oil-Free Acne Wash including the facial cleanser, foaming scrub, and cream cleaner. I love that all of these products are have an Uplifting blast of 100% natural derived grapefruit extract + Vitamin C, which smells amazing as soon as you open the bottle. I also love that because this gentle formula is made for everyday use, I know that it will be delicate enough for her young skin.

Not only is this a fun gift to let Tweens feel grown up and mature, but it also helps them to get into a healthy skin care routine before they start wearing makeup and dealing with acne.

As your tween becomes ready for makeup, be sure to check out Neutrogena’s MoistureSmooth Color stick, lipstick and crease proof eye shadow for a beautiful yet subtle makeup that is easy to use for beginning makeup wearers.

Gift Guide Ratings:
Poor (or Budget for it), Average, Good, Excellent

Availability: Excellent- available at drug stores and major retailers nationwide

Price: Good– $7-10 per bottle.

Durability: Excellent– Each bottle is fairly large, and as you only need a small amount daily, should last for quite a while. Also the product provides a deep clean that has you feeling and smelling clean all day long.

Value For Money- Excellent– I think this is a great value for money because it’s a fun “grown up” gift that Tweens will be excited to receive on Christmas morning, as well as being a practical gift that they can use on a daily basis.

Who I would buy it for: This line of products would make a great gift for any lady from Tweens to an adult. However, I think it would make an extra special gift for a tween or early teen excited to get a “grown up” gift!
