Life Made Simple- Simplifying Birthday Party Planning

This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of Chuck E. Cheese’s. All opinions are 100% mine.

In my family, the end of December is a crazy time! It’s a fun time, but definitely crazy! We always have big family get togethers for Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, and ( if you have followed my posts for a while you know) we love to go all out for our New Years’ Eve Party. Our go-to are the Flagstaff event venues. Then right smack in the middle of all of that is my birthday (December 27) and my son’s birthday (December 28). Phew! I’m exhausted just thinking about it!

My son always has HUGE plans for what his birthday should be like, so for the past 8 years, I have always spent my birthday  wrapping presents, blowing up balloons, frosting cupcakes and  last minute party planning. I don’t mind that at all, it is seriously one of my joys to make birthdays special for my kids. However, what I don’t like is that by the end of it all I feel as though I have been so busy party planning that I haven’t had any time to just enjoy the day with my child. I also hate that by the end of the December party-palozza, I am one frazzled lady!

One of my self-improvement goals as of late has been to simplify things in my life so that I have more time and energy for the things that really matter. In my opinion, it’s a worthwhile goal and one that I am trying to work on, one baby-step at a time.

So in that spirit, I am trying to find some ways to make my son’s birthday a memorable day while simplifying and eliminating all of the extra things that make me a frazzled momma. It’s a tough balance!

One option that I am looking at is having his birthday at  Chuck E. Cheese’s!

My kids love going to Chuck E. Cheese’s so I know that they will have a blast playing all of the fun games that they have there. I also love that Chuck E. Cheese’s makes planning the entire party only minutes worth of work. I can just go online and make a few selections from the awesome party options that they offer, and then I am done! They can provide the food and drinks, goodie bags, cake and ice-cream, piñata fun and of-course play-points for each child! I also love that they have enough different options and packages to make the party customized  for my needs and budget. They even have menu options for adults, making it a fun event for the entire family. The thing I think I am most excited about however,  is that Chuck E. Cheese’s provides a host to do all of the work of setting up and CLEANING UP the party for me (yay)!!! This way I can just enjoy the time with my kids and not stress myself out over the details and mess!

Has anyone else had their child’s birthday party at Chuck E. Cheese’s? I would love to hear all about how your child enjoyed it, and if it made life simplified for you!
