About Me

My name is Emily and I am the owner of Clever Housewife. I am a Domestic Goddess. In case you are unclear of what that entails, here is a list of my duties: mommy, wife, friend, therapist, teacher, chef, entertainer, breadwinner, chauffer, musician, nursemaid, accountant, tutor, spiritual advisor, life coach, recreation manager, stylist, computer tech, plumber, painter, maid, landscaper and more. You name it – I do it (except maybe anything to do with electricity and insects).

Because of the economy, and the fall of my husband's career, I have begun to coupon and shop on a budget. I started Cleverhousewife.com as a way to help others save money, and have since branched out to helping others with budget, parenting tips, recipes, fashion, crafts, diy projects, travel and more.
