Skylanders Spyro’s Adventure is the awesome giveaway for today. This is a new generation of game, created by Activision, for entertainment gaming systems. You will “Bring Your Toys to Life” in a boldly innovative adventure game where players collect real action figures and teleport them directly into the game using the mystical Portal of Power.

The game comes with 3 characters and the Portal of Power. Skylanders are special action figures with brains that come to life! Just take a Skylander, place it on the Portal of Power and BOOM! the Skylander will come to life in the video game. There are over 30 Skylanders – each with unique abilities and powers. When the action figure is placed on the Portal of Power during game play, all of your game actions/experiences are saved onto the action figure. You can then take your game figure to a friend’s home and play with them – keeping all your recorded game experiences. Of course, you’ll want to collect all the figures to increase your gaming experience.

Skylanders Spyro’s Adventure is also the first game to deliver cross-platform experiences that allow kids to bring their toys to life via the Portal of Power. And because the toys remember their experiences, they can travel seamlessly – from your home to a friend’s and from one platform to another, including Wii, Nintendo 3DS, the Xbox 360, Playstation 3, PC’s and Macs, as well as on the web with Skylanders Spyro’s Universe.

Skylanders Spyro’s Adventure is a story-driven adventure written by Joel Cohen and Alec Sokolow – the writers of Toy Story. Players take on the role of a powerful Portal Master, controlling over 30 different characters. Players embark on a fantastical journey into an amazing world, where they explore the mysterious, mythical lands and battle menacing, outlandish creatures and, of course, collect treasures and solve puzzles. The ultimate challenge is to save their world from “Kaos”, an evil Portal Master. This game is rated E10+ for cartoon violence.
