With warmer weather upon us, that means the dirt and grime is too! In the past couple of weeks we have had some lovely days, and even some light showers. After being couped up all Winter (sorta), my kids are so ready to play outside! Let’s face it; Northern California weather is pretty great and we never have to be couped up for long periods of time. Regardless, my kids have quite taken to playing basketball in front of our house.
Two things I have noticed about this in the past couple of weeks. 1. The kids are getting some good clean exercise and friendly competition in, which I love. 2. The kids’ hands are always filthy! I didn’t realize how dirty playing basketball can get, but between playing with a ball that’s constantly hitting the asphalt, and the occasional falls, these boys are just DIRTY!
While the boys have been outside getting dirty, my daughter and I have been fighting off cold after cold. This hasn’t kept Bea from playing outside, but it seriously feels like the boys are fighting off the dirty germs while the girls are fighting off the sickly germs. I had to take matters into my own hands, quite literally.
The LYSOL No-Touch Hand Soap System is meant to stop the spread of germs by eliminating the need to touch that germy soap pump. Not only do we stop spreading each other’s germs by not having to press the top of a soap dispenser, but I no longer have dirt mixed with water all over my bathroom counter. When the boys come in from playing ball, and I ask them to wash up, they typically leave a big mess in the bathroom. They rinse their hands, which then makes mud, and then they go for the soap, all while dripping the mud all over the soap and counter. ICK! The No-Touch Hand Soap System definitely helps with some of that dirty mess, and the spreading of germs. Getting washed up has never been so easy! The only thing you have to watch for is those sneaky little kids who think this automatic soap dispenser is a toy. If they do, then be prepared for lots of soap on hands or counter. Luckily this system has an off switch. Phew!
