Savoring Time and Money with “Savor” Coupon Flipboard App for iPad

Written by leanne

Do you want to to save money on regular purchases, without the hassle of printing, clipping and tracking coupons? Read how I was sponsored by Savor to tell you about their new app that does the couponing for you.

A few years ago I decided to try my hand at couponing. It seemed like a great way to save money on everyday purchases and get some great deals. Confession: I got so burnt out on all of the cutting and saving of the coupons, as well as organizing them by store and expiration date that my couponing days only lasted a few months. To all you couponers out there who can manage it all, I tip my hat to you because it was all a bit overwhelming to me! However, I still feel a twinge of guilt when I go to the store without coupons, knowing that I could be saving some money if I was just been a little more organized.

That is why I am so excited about a new couponing flipboard program called Savor, that finds and tracks coupons and deals for you based on your own Facebook “likes” and personalized settings!

To get started all you need to do is download the free Savor App from the iTunes App Store or visit www.savor.co from your phone or desktop computer to start savoring. From there signing in is easy, as you simply enter your Facebook username and password and Savor scans through your “likes” to find a personalized catalogue of savings. You can also go into the app or website to add more stores and categories that you would like to view offers from. Once that is done you can quickly scan through your customized list of savings and shop for them right then and there or save them for whenever you want to use them.

Savor also takes the organizational challenge out of couponing by tracking expiration dates and new offers for you. With its completely customizable notification system, Savor can alert you when offers are expiring and give you a daily or weekly digest of new deals that are available. You can even share your deals on Facebook or Pinterest so
that your friends can go shopping with you.

I tried out Savor’s mobile website and found it really simple and user friendly. I loved that by having a customized catalogue of savings based on my likes, I could find coupon deals that I am actually interested in. This saved me a lot of time compared to other coupon sites that require users to scroll through pages and pages of unwanted offers, to find the deals that are actually wanted. Another great feature is that user settings are saved and can be accessed at any time from any of the Savor platforms (iPad App, Mobile Site or Desktop site), so deals can be easily accessed wether at home or on the go.

To savor some extra time and money in your own life, download the Savor App from the ITunes App Store or visit Savor from your desktop or mobile device.
