In a small saucepan make a puree with 1 cup cranberries, the sugar and a few Tbs of water over medium heat until sugar is dissolved. Mash with a fork or potato masher to infuse the cranberries and create a chunky puree. Remove from heat.
Pour frozen concentrates and cranberry mixture into a large punch bowl and stir until combined. Do not add water.
Add pineapple juice and ginger ale to punch bowl and mix.
Using a cookie scoop (or small ice cream scoop), drop scoops of sherbet on top of punch. Top with remaining cranberries, sprinkled throughout the punch.
