Preheat oven to 375°F.
Prepare the sugar cookie mix per the instructions on the package, by mixing together the mix, butter and 1 egg.
Once you have the dough, place it on a floured surface. You may need to work a little extra flour into the dough, to prevent it from sticking. Divide into three sections and roll each out into 1/2-inch logs.
From each log, divide into 3-inch long pieces. Place on a baking sheet lined with Parchment paper.
With remaining egg, use a Pastry brush to spread on top of each cookie stick. Sprinkle pecan and sugar mixture over the top and bake for 8-10 minutes, or just until golden.
