I’ve always been a fan of Sam’s Club. It’s my go to place for stocking up, getting ready for a family or entertainment event, checking out the latest in tech gadgets or electronics – you name it, Sam’s Club is my place. Now you can save time shopping with the Scan & Go App at Sam’s Club.
My Sam’s Club is never too busy, and I can usually get through check-out fairly quickly – except at those times when there’s a special sales event. Then the lines can get long and shopping can get hectic. I recently took advantage of the great sales for the One Day Only Event which featured lowest prices of the season on top tech items, cool toys, gifts and lots of seasonal decor. Armed with the Scan & Go App, I got out of there without any hassle of waiting in line. Black Friday is just a few days away, so you’ll want to download the App and be ready to get the stuff you want, at prices that can’t be beat.
Here’s how it works: Download the Scan & Go App before you head to Sam’s Club, you can also see what some of the great sales are on the Sam’s website. Head to your local Sam’s and find the items on your list (or even some that aren’t on your list, but catch your eye). Look for the barcode on the items you want to purchase, Scan the barcode with your iPhone or Android, then place the item in your cart. If there’s no barcode, just look up the item with the “Find Item” feature. As you continue to shop, you see a running total of all the items in your shopping cart. Once you’ve grabbed all your goodies, you’re ready to check out – all on your own. One thing to keep in mind, is you must use a credit or debit card for your purchases. No cash and no gift cards. Just click the Pay feature, enter your credit card info and you’re done. When it’s time to leave the store, simply show the receipt from your phone to the associate on your way out. They will scan the receipt as you leave.
The cool feature is that you don’t have to hang on to paper receipts in case you need to return an item. The App stores all your purchases on your Smart Phone and when it’s time to make your return, just show the associate your receipt from the App. If you need help at any time, you can contact Sam’s Club’s 24/7 Tech Support!
iPhone and Android users will save time and money with the new, free, Scan & Go App. Not only will you enjoy your Sam’s Membership more, but you can apply for their 5-3-1 Mastercard which lets you in on great savings available at the Club, puts 5 % cash back on gas, 3% on dining and travel and 1% on everything else. The App keeps track of what you’re spending and also puts you in touch with Tech Support when you need it for tech item set-up and assistance.
It was empowering to be prepared before I went to the store for the One Day Only Event. I found the items I wanted (some Tupperware at a great price, and a sound bar), scanned the barcode myself, and paid right from my phone. I was in and out quickly and didn’t have to wait in line. Download the Scan & Go App in time for Black Friday and be a savvy shopper.
