Hair Caught In a Rut? Win a Flex-Clip and Look Fabulous

by Emily Buys 54 Comments

Do you ever find your hair caught in a rut, with the same “mom-do”, day after day? The “mom-do” for me, over the years, has been an easy ponytail. When I am in a rush, which is most days, I don’t take the time to blow dry my hair. My hair gets too wavy to leave it down without drying it so I toss it up into a messy bun or ponytail. Every time I get bored with my hair, which is quite often, I might add, I get it cut. Sometimes I go with a fairly short haircut just so I won’t get stuck in the rut of putting it into a ponytail all the time. Sometimes this works out, and other times, I just want my long hair back. Sometimes I get frustrated because I have never been very good with hair. Don’t get wrong, I love my hair, but I never know what to do with it.

I was recently contacted by a Lilla Rose consultant who had a great solution for me – the flexi-clip. I was hesitant at first and wondered how one little clip could make me feel much better about my hair. My consultant, Sarah, had such a belief, and a love, for flexi-clips, that she was sure that I would love them if I just gave them a chance. I browsed the collection and selected my first flexiclip, the 1-1336 Etched Diamond Shape Gold.

My clip arrived in the mail with a card that had pictures of different hairstyles, which used the flexi-clip. I immediately wanted to give the clip a whirl. The clip is unique because it has a little stretch to it, to curve around and hug your hair. There is a rod type of thing, which is attached to the clip, and you slide it under your hair and through the opposite side of the clip. This helps holds your hair in place. I love that the rod is attached to the clip because I would surely lose it if it weren’t. My ponytail feels much prettier than before. I have also tried a couple of the other recommended hairstyles, using the flexi-clip. I particularly like the Tails Up look. This hairdo was done within a matter of seconds!! If I don’t have time to dry my hair when I get out of the shower, I feel confident knowing the flexi-clip has my back (or should I say hair?).

To get a good feel for everything the flex-clip can do, check out the many flexi-clip styling videos.

Through the end of day 7/28, there is a clearance event with select styles at 30% off. Be sure to check those out.

Two lucky readers will win a flex-clip of their choice! To enter, please fill out the rafflecopter form below. This giveaway will end at 12:01am on 8/17. Giveaway is open to US, Canada AND Mexico! All entries will be verified.

I like the butterfly clip. I’d probably pick a different one if I could get the site to open…it just kept redirecting me back to “select a hair category”. The hair bands are pretty, thinking about treating myself to one of those!

I would love to get a mini multi-colored stone cluster or mini open heart dangle for my daughter. I have trouble getting bows to stay in her hair. Even most pony tail holder easily slide out.
