Sweeten Up Your Valentine With Shari’s Berries

Sweeten Up Your Valentine With Shari’s Berries

For years and years, red roses and chocolates have been one of the most popular gifts for Valentine’s Day. I honestly can’t even remember the last time I got red roses or a box of chocolates as a gift from my Valentine. It’s not that I don’t enjoy roses or chocolates, because I most certainly do. I just personally don’t like to wait for a holiday to allow myself to endulge in yummy chocolates. Perhaps I should – then my hips may be a little more appreciative! I guess for me, it’s about being different and unique, and getting surprised.

This year, I decided to try something different for the hubs and I. While it isn’t Valentine’s Day quite yet, we thought we would do a little celebrating early, since my husband is due to be away at school on the day of love. I did some browsing at Shari’s Berries, to see what would make a nice gift, but also make for a fun/tasty evening. I ordered a dozen Gourmet Dipped Swizzled Strawberries, as well as some birthday cake pops (just because they looked so good. Oh boy were these tasty! The strawberries are so large and juicy; packed with tons of flavor! Some strawberries were covered with white chocolate, while others were covered with milk or dark chocolate. The combination of strawberries that we received was perfect because hubby likes white chocolate while I enjoy milk. Then we were able to split the darks!

The only suggestion I feel I should make in regard to the chocolate covered strawberries from Shari’s Berries is that you should eat them over a sink, or with a napkin. So juicy that the flavors will just run down your chin! I don’t personally see that as a problem.

The cake pops that accompanied our drizzled strawberries were so unbelievably good. Don’t tell anyone, but I snuck them in my purse so we could eat them while watching Parental Guidance at the movie theater. Just the right treat for our date night out. Perfectly moist chocolate cake with the right combination of frosting and sprinkles; The perfect treat to share with my hubby.

If you are looking for something different and tasty to get your Valentine, be sure to check out the assortment of goodies from Shari’s Berries – YUM!
