Review of the New Mat Kearney Album, Young Love

Mat Kearney’s third album, Young Love, hit stores a couple of weeks ago, debuting on the #1 spot on iTunes Album and Rock charts, and is currently sitting at #5!

I received a free copy of the Mat Kearney album, through One2One Network, and was so excited when it came in the mail. I am a MUSIC LOVER!! I believe music is a way to help us express our feelings, and to help us through the good and bad times.
I really enjoyed listening to Mat Kearney’s “feel good” music. It was so pleasant to listen to, and I love his voice. He also makes me want to get up and dance! I wasn’t super familiar with who he was, but had heard a little of his music before. Just watch the video above, of “Hey Mama’, and you’ll be hooked! Here is a list of the song titles on his newest album:

Young Love Tracklisting

1 Hey Mama
2 Ships In The Night
3 Count On Me
4 Sooner Or Later
5 Chasing The Light
6 Learning To Love Again
7 Down
8 She Got The Honey
9 Young Dumb And In Love
10 Rochester
11 Seventeen

If you get the album, I’d love to hear which song is your favorite. I love so many of them, but I do REALLY enjoy “Hey Mama”. It just makes me want to get up and dance. His music is so “feel good”. You can find Mat on facebook, and stay up to date on his latest.

Some of his previous hits have been aired on your favorite TV shows. Past songs have appeared on 30 Rock, Grey’s Anatomy, The Hills, Friday Night Lights, Scrubs, NCIS, and numerous other television shows. Mat’s been winning over crowds on tours with everyone from John Mayer and Sheryl Crow to Keane and The Fray! He also recently performed with Michelle Branch, at a recent blogging conference.

If you’d be interested in going to one of Mat Kearney’s concerts, check out his tour – he’s hitting a lot of places. I wish he was going to be on the West Coast; and I’d be there!
