HOLIDAY GIFT GUIDE – Day 5: 1 Dozen Amusing Treats

What could be better than personalized treats for your next party, corporate event, teacher appreciation or wedding favors? Sharon at Amusing Treats will create handcrafted brownies or sugar cookies, and decorate the top of them with her delicious frosting which includes your logo or photo. Sharon uses the finest ingredients for each handmade batch of brownies or cookies.

The brownies are then dipped in decadent white chocolate and covered with edible icing paper. The sugar cookies are hand rolled and covered with luscious homemade fondant, then covered with your edible image. The logo, design or photo is done by photo transfer method. When you order, you’ll include a high-resolution picture or jpeg of your desired design.  I got to try both the brownie and the cookie. They came safe and secure in a delightfully decorated box. Each cookie and brownie was individually wrapped in cellophane with the logo displayed.

Both the cookies and brownies were surprisingly moist and very tasty. The frosting logo looked just as advertised on her website. Very good color and high definition. These are definitely a unique custom treat for just about every occasion. I think they would be the perfect gift for that special teacher, or even a lovely favor for your next baby shower. Gift giving for the man in your life comes to mind, as well.

The brownies or cookies come in 3 sizes, either a 2” square, 2 ½ “ round or a 3×2” rectangle. I think her pricing is competitive at 2” square $2.50, 2 ½” round $2.75 and 3×2” rectangle $2.75, especially considering these lovely treats are personalized and unique. Shipping may be more reasonable if purchasing in larger batches because she does volume discounts on those larger orders.
