Since I moved into my current house in January, we have been working on one project after another. I love the layout of my house, and it’s condition really wasn’t poor, but everything in it was very basic. My house was built around 2005 and the original owners did not upgrade a single thing. We wanted to replace the flooring eventually, but because Little Girl spilled a gallon of paint on the carpet, that upgrade was expedited. I love my new flooring, but there are still so many little things around the house that I want to upgrade.
I have never been a big fan of the standard faucets and toilets that get put into these newer homes, but I was lucky to receive a brand new faucet from Danze. I was able to give my guest bathroom a mini makeover, and can’t wait to do the rest of my bathrooms. I chose a faucet from the Corsair Collection, #D225547. I love it!
This is the faucet I had before my Danze makeover. As you can see, it is dull, stubby and just nothing to it really.
I waited for hubby to come home and install my new faucet for me, and unfortunately had to wait a couple of weeks until he had the time to do it. Once he got to it, it was a breeze. Uninstalling the old faucet and installing the new one took a bit of time, but no big run-ins or complications.
I love the sleek sophisticated look of the Danze faucet over my old one. The spout comes out farther into the sink, and the water that shoots out is so smooth and streams nicely. I love that it shoots out farther into the sink so my kids can get their little hands into it more easily.
Another fun feature is the plug. The little lever that you pull to stop the drain is comfortable to the hand, and hides nicely behind the handle. Now I need to upgrade my lights and toilet in my guest bathroom, and we’re set!
Lucky for my readers, one of you can win a high efficiency Danze shower head! The winner will have their choice between this Danze shower head, and this shower head in brushed nickel. This giveaway will end at 12:01am on 6/25. To enter, fill out the rafflecopter form below.
