As I mentioned before, you can use whatever dippers you’d like, but let me tell you why I love Fritos for my dipping pleasure. These chips are sturdy and can handle a nice big scoop of all that goodness going on. Plus, I love the little bit of added crunchy saltiness. You can even stock up and buy a case on Amazon (my fave)! Give it a try, and I promise you won’t regret it!
I’d be curious to hear what add-ins become some of your favorites! We use fresh jalapeños and peppers for sure, and corn when we can get it!!
If you are serving the Skinny Poolside Dip to a crowd, then a cute bowl is A MUST!
Because these bowls have been so popular among readers (and friends), I think you really do need them! Here is what I LOVE about the bowls:
- They come in a set of 4 so you can use them for the whole family, or for your next girl’s lunch!
- The bowls are the perfect size for housing this delicious Skinny Poolside Dip!
- They are so pretty that when you aren’t serving up food, you can use them as decor!!
- 1 red pepper, diced
- 2 jalapeños, unseeded and diced
- 1 can of corn or 1/2 a 16 oz bag of frozen corn
- 1/2 can diced olives
- 16 oz fat-free cream cheese (softened)

Thanks to Home Trends Utah, for sharing their secret ingredient and yummy dip with me!
I’m going to make this dip for my husband while he watches football! Thank you 🙂
This looks yummy!! Thank you!
I’m so glad the dip was a hit! I recently saw that you posted a link to my page and I thought I would say hello and thanks for checking out my blog! So fun to see a fellow BYU alum blogger 🙂
Can’t wait to try this! Sounds so good..repinning it now! Thank you!
I bet it would be good with some spinach mixed in, I didn’t think I liked spinach dip until after the last family reunion My aunt made me take some home… I ran out of the lil bread so I took hotdog buns ripped them in half and toasted on our bagel setting, OMG I ate it all and wanted more
Did you use black or green olives?
Black olives, Sheri.
Could you tell it was fat free cream cheese? I have made things with ff cc before and thought that it wasn’t very good. Low fat usually works much better but I would love it if this dip really works with ffcc….thoughts??
I am not typically a fan of ff cream cheese, but I sure love this recipe!
How many people does this serve?
That’s tough to say Mallory, since this is a dip and people eat varying amounts of dip. It makes a pretty good sized batch though!
Do you drain the corn and olives?
Yes, I would drain them!
Has anyone ever tried putting black beans in it?
Great idea Stacey! I think it could be tasty!
When you so red peppers…. Can you be a little mor specific? Like what department of the store would I find this?
Red bell peppers Liza. These are fresh.
I made this dip but added 3/4 cup chapped wilted spinach, scallions, paprika, and garlic powder. Very good, I think I will use a little less corn next time. I also think adding some shredded cheddar would be good, but not as healthy lol!
So glad you enjoyed it!
I recommend not using fat free cream cheese. I Personally don’t like the taste and fat free Isn’t necessarily healthy. Low fat works perfectly. This dip is so good. LOVE it with triscuits.
Low fat cream cheese definitely works. Use to your taste.
What kind of olives….black or green?
I prefer black olives, but you could definitely try green if you like them, Maureen.
