Welcome
Hello there! I bet you’re here for that delicious looking Skinny Poolside Dip you’ve been eyeing from afar. Believe me, you are going to love it – especially if you are a fan of creamy goodness and low calorie snacking.
Here are the things you will LOVE about Skinny Poolside Dip:
- When you take it to a party, BBQ, or any gathering, everyone will be asking for the recipe!
- Depending on the season, you can change up the veggies you include! If it’s summer, throw in some fresh garden zucchini.
- If you truly are aiming for low calorie snacking, use low-fat or non-fat cream cheese. If you just want a really creamy good flavor, use regular cream cheese!
- The dipping options are really up to you!! Use baby carrots, cut up zucchini, celery, or whatever you please – or go for my favorite – Frito Scoops!
Skinny Poolside Dip has been in my family for a few years now, and although we originally started creating it during tailgate season, it has become a year-round favorite! Any season, you name it and we’ve got this dip out for family gatherings and any occasion we can think of.

I bet it would be good with some spinach mixed in, I didn’t think I liked spinach dip until after the last family reunion My aunt made me take some home… I ran out of the lil bread so I took hotdog buns ripped them in half and toasted on our bagel setting, OMG I ate it all and wanted more
Sheri says
Did you use black or green olives?
Emily Lyon says
Black olives, Sheri.
Andrea says
Could you tell it was fat free cream cheese? I have made things with ff cc before and thought that it wasn’t very good. Low fat usually works much better but I would love it if this dip really works with ffcc….thoughts??
Emily Lyon says
I am not typically a fan of ff cream cheese, but I sure love this recipe!
Mallory says
How many people does this serve?
Emily Lyon says
That’s tough to say Mallory, since this is a dip and people eat varying amounts of dip. It makes a pretty good sized batch though!
Christa says
Do you drain the corn and olives?
Emily Lyon says
Yes, I would drain them!
Stacey says
Has anyone ever tried putting black beans in it?
Emily Lyon says
Great idea Stacey! I think it could be tasty!
Liza says
When you so red peppers…. Can you be a little mor specific? Like what department of the store would I find this?
Emily Lyon says
Red bell peppers Liza. These are fresh.
cassie says
I made this dip but added 3/4 cup chapped wilted spinach, scallions, paprika, and garlic powder. Very good, I think I will use a little less corn next time. I also think adding some shredded cheddar would be good, but not as healthy lol!
Emily Lyon says
So glad you enjoyed it!
Jodi says
I recommend not using fat free cream cheese. I Personally don’t like the taste and fat free Isn’t necessarily healthy. Low fat works perfectly. This dip is so good. LOVE it with triscuits.
Emily Lyon says
Low fat cream cheese definitely works. Use to your taste.
Maureen says
What kind of olives….black or green?
Emily Buys says
I prefer black olives, but you could definitely try green if you like them, Maureen.
