Ore-Ida Grillers: The Potatoes You Can Grill

by Emily Buys Leave a Comment

Did you know that Ore-Ida has come out with a new product, which is absolutely fantastic? Don’t bother heating up your kitchen in order to cook potatoes or french fries. Just try Ore-Ida Grillers: the potatoes you can grill! Now that’s what I’m talkin’ about! Ore-Ida Grills come as Golden Thick Cut Potatoes and as Grillers Seasons Thick Cut Potatoes. You can do your own seasoning, or let Ore-Ida do the seasoning for you. Both varieties are very tasty, but for the sake of ease and lots of flavor, I quite enjoy the seasoned grillers. I am just pondering all of the possibilities of ways to season these babies, to make them go with a variety of meals.

Grillers can be purchased at grocery stores and mass merchandisers nationwide (such as Target, Walmart, Sam’s Club, Jewel-Osco, ShopRite, Safeway and Stop & Shop).

The Ore-Ida Grillers are super easy to cook. Simply fire up the grill and let it preheat for about 15 minutes. Then stick your thick cut potatoes on the grill and let them cook for about 15 minutes – turning once or twice. YUM! You can eat the potatoes plain or dip them in your favorite dipping sauce. I am partial to a barbecue/mayonnaise sauce.

To make dinner completely easy, I threw some hamburger patties on the grill and let them cook at the same time. Just be sure your raw meat doesn’t touch your potatoes (ew). My kitchen stayed nice and cool, and the meal was enjoyed by all.
