I like to take advantage of my summers by doing a lot of entertaining and get togethers. Some of my get togethers are just with family, some are just with my girlfriends, and others are with family friends. Any excuse to get together, eat good food, and enjoy good company, is great with me. When I am in the planning stages of a party or social gather, I often plan to do my summer entertaining with Target. Target has great products for every occasion, and their prices are often great! I especially love the end cap clearance sections, which other stores around here do not have! I personally feel that when I go to Target I can get some really fun, funky, and when the occasion strikes, classy, items for all types of entertaining.

I have a brother and his family visiting, so we had a gathering at my parent’s house this evening, where we had some good treats. I used the large serving bowl to hold chips and a California Caviar (recipe coming up shortly), which was delish, and served with style.
My mom made some homemade Rhubarb Cobbler, which served very well on the salad plates (Another recipe to come soon). I just love how bright the dishes are, which I feel brightens up any meal – just as it should be for summer.
