The Power Rangers have been around for almost 20 years. I remember watching the original Mighty Morphin Power Rangers when I got home after school. Now, years later, the Power Rangers Super Samurai has stepped onto the scene and taken a hold of a new generation. My nephews squeal with excitement and fly around the room with just the mention of them.
This upcoming Tuesday, August 14, for the first time from Lionsgate Home Entertainment Power Rangers Super Samurai: Black Box (Vol.1), and Power Rangers Super Samurai: Super Showdown (Vol.2) will be available on DVD and Digital Download for $14.98 each on Amazon. Each set includes 4 episodes and special features such as music videos, character and weapons galleries.
Every episode is jam-packed with colorful super charged battle suits, super weapons, and super modes thanks to the Black Box. With these new powers a single Ranger is able to jump into Super Samurai Mode and call on the power of all seven Zords. While in the MegaZord cockpit the Rangers are able to change into Super Mega Mode and now have the best set of armor yet. The Rangers are known for their individual bright colors of Pink, Yellow, Blue, Red, Green, and now Gold with the addition of a sixth Ranger.
Teamwork, friendship, and tons of action flow nicely between episodes as the Rangers educate their audience in overcoming fears, as well as other topics that may occur in the daily lives of the viewer. Power Rangers Super Samurai currently airs on the Nickelodeon channel and has been named the #1 kids action series on television. It’s not hard to see why this franchise has been able to sustain itself for so long as well expand its brand into action figures, games, and more. Power Rangers are here to stay and from what these new Power Rangers Super Samurai have shown, there is only room to grow.
You can purchase Power Rangers Super Samurai: Super Powered Black Box (Vol.1) DVD for just $13.72, on Amazon, or
Power Rangers Super Samurai: Super Showdown (Vol. 2) DVD for only $9.99!!
