Win Your School $75,000 in the “Rock Your School” Contest + $50 Famous Footwear Giveaway

Now is your chance to share your dream enhancements for your school, in the “Rock Your School” Contest! The high school with the highest number of votes in the contest will win up to $75,000!!! Whose school couldn’t use that? The winning entrant will also win a cash prize of up to $25,000! Not only can you enter your school in the contest, but I am offering a $50 Famous Footwear Giveaway! The giveaway details will be at the bottom of this post.

Get thinking about what kind of improvements your school needs the most. Do the buildings and classrooms need updating? Does your school need more technology, music or arts? It’s your choice! Nominate your school and get your friends, family and community to vote.

To nominate your school, visit the Famous Footwear Facebook Page or download the mobile app, Rock Your School. Entrants must share in at least 250 words how your school would use the funds to make it “rock”. The best part is that you can vote daily for your favorite entry! If you don’t have a child in school right now, then help your community out.

For every vote cast, Famous Footwear will add $1 to the prize, up to $75,000 for the school donation and up to $25,000 for the entrant. Two instant win prizes including $10 Famous Footwear and Converse gift cards, tote bags, T-shirts and more will be given away daily to voters.

Here are the dates to pay attention to:

  • August 5 – September 8: Nominate your high school
  • September 16 – October 5: Fans will be able to vote on their favorite finalists
  • On or about October 21: The grand prize winner will be announced

    I would love to buy my 2 year old daughter and myself some shoes. I have had the same tennis shoes for 2 years, they are shot and my daughter has all hand me down shoes from her cousin. My husband and son just recently bought new shoes so it’s time for us girls to do some shoe shopping! 🙂

    I would buy some sneakers for my daughter. She was the only one not in school this year so both of her brothers got new shoes for school. She was kinda sad but money is tight.

    I’d like to buy a new pair of shoes for my granddaughter; just bought two pair of sneakers for her at Famous Footwear. She will need shoes for church and other occasions where she can’t wear sneakers.

    Probably have to do my youngest son, when we went school clothes shopping we forgot to get him another pair of tennis shoes. we got him some the beginning of August, he is a boy and hard on them so they are looking funky already

    I’d have to say my hubby! He could really use a new pair as he had to start wearing his to work and lets just say that in doing so he can’t wear them any where but at work now. And he is now wearing slippers every where else…lol
