Time for another update on my weight loss progress. As of Wednesday, I completed Nutrisystem week 6. I am kind of glad that I am reporting as of Wednesday because Thursday was a train wreck! I will touch on that in next week’s post.
If you recall, I made some big commitments last week and I am pleased to say that I stuck to them! I made a goal to stop drinking soda, and I didn’t even have one sip of it this week. It was a bit challenging at times because I would just crave a nice cold Diet Pepsi, but I resisted and went for water instead.
My second commitment was to eat out less. As of Wednesday, I have to say I did pretty great! Saturday was my grandpa’s birthday so we went to Applebee’s as a family. I did so-so on my choices for lunch, but I made up for it with exercise.
My third and final commitment was to increase my exercise. I did awesome at this. I did the treadmill for 20-30 minutes almost every single day – with the exception of Sunday. It felt great to be so active, and to really sweat. I hope that I can continue these efforts as it has been a bit challenging the past couple of days.
While I improved in the three areas I set out to improve, I didn’t lose as much weight as I would have liked. I have this problem where if I feel like I work really hard at something, and it doesn’t pay off, then I kind of rebel. I will go more into detail on this next week as that is my problem for week 7. Here is my final report for week 6 on Nutrisystem:
Starting weight: 173.8
Last week’s weight: 171.4
Current weight: 171.2
