Bedtime with little ones can be quite the feat! With four kids, it is rare that we have a night where everyone goes to bed easily and quickly. There is almost always one that can’t settle down, for a variety of reasons. Ever since my youngest turned 3 in May, she has developed so many fears. I think that 3 is a common age for little ones to start becoming afraid of more and more things – due to their increasing knowledge of the world. Little Girl is often afraid of the dark, monsters, ghosts, and other scary-like things. These fears keep her from staying in bed and falling asleep, which doesn’t make for a happy momma.
I received the Cuddletunes Cuddle Bear recently, and I am putting it to the task of helping to ease Little Girl’s mind, and bring her peace. The Cuddletunes Cuddle Bear is the first ever plush cuddle bear where parents, grandparents, and other caretakers, can record a message of any length (i.e. sweet message, entire chapter from a book, favorite saying that is special, etc.), that will come directly from the bear. You can visit the Cuddletunes website and record your message there, then download it via USB, onto the Cuddletunes Cuddle Bear (which has a MP3 built into its plush). This way, your little one can lay in bed, or on the couch when they’re not feeling well, and press the button to hear your voice. My daughter LOVES hearing my voice come from her bear. Sometimes she thinks it’s funny, and other times it brings her peace.
My daughter’s favorite feature of the bear, other than being soft, cuddly and coming with a pink bow, is that the bear plays lullabies with her name said right in the songs. The Cuddletunes site has a good-sized list of names to choose from, but may not have lesser common names (yet). They actually didn’t have my daughter’s name, Brielle, so I choose her nickname – Belle. The lullabies are sweet, and they really bring my daughter some peace as she tries to settle down for the night. I plan to keep using the Cuddletunes Cuddle Bear, to see how long this lasts, but I have high hopes! I really love that the bear isn’t clunky and stiff.
If you have a child who travels, the Cuddletunes Cuddle Bear will make the perfect gift, so they can have something personal from you, to take with them always! To be honest, I think my boys would even enjoy a bear of their own – whether they would admit it or not. The Cuddletunes Cuddle Bear retails for $59.95 on the Cuddletunes website, as well as Amazon. This Bear even has a 4.5 star rating on Amazon! You can also try your hand at winning your own bear, right here! One Clever Housewife reader will win a Cuddletunes Cuddle Bear.
