With four boys in my household (including dad, because he is just another kid after all), I’m sure you can imagine how many Hot Wheels we own. Cars are one of those toys that just doesn’t age or get old with time. Kids have been playing with cars for centuries! Hot Wheels has come out with a new car that’s got all kinds of bells and whistles, packed into one small package of fun. Stunt Chargers are the new Hot Wheels vehicles that are considered a motoroized mayhem on wheels. By connecting the car to it’s handy dandy charger, you get a quick charge for fast-paced play.
Each Stunt Charger comes with it’s own charger, which takes 3 AA batteries. Once the car is juiced up the LED light starts glowing and you’re ready to race, crash, bash, and perform all kinds of crazy stunts. I put this nifty car to the test with my guys, and it certainly passed with flying colors. My boys are still exploring and testing out all of the stunts the Stunt Chargers cars can perform. So far they have discovered that they can drive them straight into walls and they cannot be stopped. They will bounce off the walls and ricochet in corners. I think their favorite thing to do with the Stunt Chargers is to drive them right off the stairs. They crack up everytime!
Stunt Chargers come in blue, green, and orange, and retail for just $14.99! The green and orange vehicles are actually motorcycles so I’m sure my boys will be begging for those in no time. Let the kids collect all three so they can perform their own stunt shows in their homemade arenas! Because of the nice compact size, Stunt Chargers could make a great addition to any Easter basket.
For some added fun, I received the Hot Wheels SpinShotz. Instead of vehicles, the Spin Shotz is all about getting hyper-speed with discs. The kids had fun racing and spinning their discs along the included Magna Grip track. To be honest, the boys are shooting these discs all over the place! You can use the power boost for extra speed, then aim and hit the bullseye to rack up points! My boys love trying to see who can rack up more points. This was set up on my kitchen table practically all weekend. Now to find a cool new place for the kids to set up their tracks, so I can set the table for dinner….
I love the new innovative ideas that Hot Wheels keeps coming out with. I even caught hubby playing and racing with the boys numerous times this weekend.
I was provided with Hot Wheels products to facilitate my review. All opinions expressed are my own.
