In the fast paced world we live in it can be difficult to stay on top of everything. With technology running rampant through nearly everything we do, it is important to understand it and to be able to tolerate it. I do more than tolerate it though; I embrace it, and love it (most of the time). As a blogger, I really feel that I need to stay up-to-date all the time! Microsoft understands and wants to help with the new MSN Reimagination!
The New MSN Reimagination #MSNKnowNow
Microsoft has reimagined the new MSN to be 4x faster than other top sites so you can always get in the know on the topics that matter most to you. In honor of redesigns and reimagining things, MSN asked me to share a time in my life where I had to do a little reimaginging and redesigning of myself.
As you all know, my husband lost his job 4 years ago. The construction industry in California had pretty much tanked and we decided to take a new journey. Rather than take a couple of part time jobs or commute for work, our family decided to send my husband back to school. This meant that for the first time, I had to become the bread winner. I worked in high school, and only for a few months in college, so this was a new adventure for me. I knew that I was needed at home with my 4 children, so rather than take a job outside of the home, I started this blog and taught piano lessons. In a way, I had to redesign myself and teach myself to be a little more of the working type. I also really had to learn more about computers, wordpress, social media, and more! As with starting any new business, it took a long while for the blog to be profitable at all. I really didn’t have a clue as to what I was doing when I started, but I had fun doing it.I didn’t have anyone to show me the ropes so it was and still is a learning curve. Anytime I have a question, I turn to the internet and search for an answer. I have my ups and downs, as does my blog, but continues to be a fantastic adventure. Without technology, I wouldn’t be able to do what I love!
Now that you’ve learned about my reimagination, I’d love to hear about one of yours!

I wrote about my reimagine on my blog. I am returning my blog to its original goal. I’m sharing our journey toward a more eco-friendly life. Less reviews & giveaways. More real content. It feels good.

That’s a great goal Ellen! It is easy to get lost and sidetracked from what we really want to write about. Good luck to you!
