There are few things I enjoy more than good quality girl time with my little bug, Brielle. I absolutely love her to pieces and I can’t get enough of her. Being the youngest of three boys, my daughter has got to be tough, but she is also very girly. I don’t know that they come any girlier than Bea (nickname). She loves PINK PINK PINK, dresses, pretty shoes, hair accessories, purses and more! I probably squeeze and kiss her a tad too much, but I just adore her. She makes me laugh and has so much personality.
One of Bea’s favorite things to do is have her nails painted. What better way to accomplish that than with the oh-so-safe Piggy Paint!
After returning from Legoland this week, I had my babysitter come over to help out with the house and kids, as we got ready for my in-laws to arrive. Because my babysitter LOVES to paint nails, I thought I would photograph her painting Bea’s nails. As soon as Brielle heard what we were going to do, she just squealed.
I was sent a pack of several colors of Piggy Paint and Brielle and Alexie (my babysitter) decided to go for a rainbow look, and use most of the colors. They turned out so cute and my girl has been showing them off to everyone! I have to say that I love the instructions for drying the Piggy Paint polish. This is what they recommend for maximum dryness and chip resistance:
“Use a hair dryer to dry polish for one minute with warm heat/low setting (for some extra fun while waiting for the polish to dry – sing 2 rounds of the ABC’s)!” The Piggy Paint product and brand is really geared toward little ones, which I think is fantastic. Piggy Paint is as “natural as mud”. The thing I love about this polish (other than the super cute colors) is that it is non-toxic, kid-friendly, virtually odorless (true story), and water-based! I mean, can you get much better/safer than that when considering painting your kids’ nails? I think my daughter really loves the fun names that go along with the colors, such as “PINKie Promise”.
Piggy Paint is available at select Walmart stores, for easy shopping! There is more though! Through April 30th 2013, use can use promo code “PiggyFun” when shopping at PiggyPaint.com, for 15% off your entire order. Not only that but One lucky Clever Housewife reader will win one “Toe-Tally Fancy” 3 polish set!
