Dine and Sail Away With Me to Aruba

by Emily Buys 3 Comments

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Aruba Tourism Authority for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine. Learn all about the magnificent vacationing spot, Aruba. Come dine and sail away with me (virtually speaking) to Aruba!

Aruba, Jamaica, ooh I wanna take ya’! Sound familiar? I think the Beach Boys knew a thing or two about ultimate travel destinations! With a rainy Memorial Day coming up, I think I could handle a nice beach vacation to Aruba – how about you?

Because I am always looking up the next best place to visit (and boy do I have a list), I wanted to see what Aruba has to offer. I was amazed at how Aruba has something to offer nearly every type – the foodie (yes please!), adventure type, or a beach bum. Aruba is attributed to being One Happy Island, and I am inclined to think it’s true.

Aside from the cultural melting pot, which always fascinates me, I would be happy with a leisurely horseback ride on the beach, oodles of shopping with prices at 10-35% lower than the United States, and of course….the restaurant scene! The high-rise strip is home to over 100 resort and independent restaurants. I could live there I think! Then there is the beaten path with some local favorites that would be a must to try out. Sometimes it’s the hole-in-the-wall places that blow me away with the flavors and combinations! I don’t know if I’d be brave enough to try the Caribbean delicacies such as frog legs and venison, but perhaps I could toughen up and try the duck or foie gras. I love me some good food and I’ll be they know how to prepare it right in Aruba!

Let’s not forget the attractions and turqoise Caribbean waters! I would absolutely love to try kitesurfing, parasailing and snorkeling. I’d never complain about some sunbathing in a place like that either. Be sure to check out aruba.com to see all they have to offer in the way of Aruba travel.

It is still the sugary white sand beaches and perfect weather which keep bringing us back to Aruba time and time again.
