My family had one of our best Spring break vacations this year because we got to spend it at the BRAND NEW Legoland Hotel! The only problem with our entire trip was that daddy didn’t get to come with. Lucky for us, my mom filled in and was a huge help to me. I think she had a great time too! I don’t see how anyone staying at the Legoland Hotel, and Legoland, could NOT have a fantastic time.
Because the hotel is so phenomenal, I thought I would break up my review into separate posts, focusing on different aspects of the hotel. I just have way too many pictures to share, and can’t cram them all into one post. The Legoland Hotel had it’s grand opening on April 5, 2013, but I had the privilege of taking my family for a preview before it’s opening, a couple of days prior.

For now I want to focus on the FOOD and ultimate family dining at Bricks Family Restaurant in the Legoland Hotel. The buffet and food was like no other restaurant I have been to. The atmosphere is so much fun with lego figures and creations all over the restaurant. The staff was beyond kind and helpful. To top it off, my mouth is watering just thinking about all of the yummy foods I got to enjoy.
The most amazing thing about the Bricks Family Restaurant is the kids’ buffet. There is a regular buffet for the adults and a buffet sized just right for small children. Kids can reach their own foods and the food options are fantastic. They have kid-friendly meal options, but they actually taste fresh and yummy! By far the best looking children’s buffet I’ve ever seen or tasted! I must admit that I tried a few of the items on the kids’ buffet, because they looked too good to pass up!
The adult buffet had just as tasty of options, and plenty of them. I especially loved the fact that there were many gluten free and allergy free options.
Can’t forget about the dessert! I think I tried a bit of everything and all were superb! The apple crisp and cheesecake in a cup thingys were my favorite! Oh how I could go for some right about now!
The kids and grown-ups all LOVEd the Bricks Family Restaurant. I think the only complaint would have to do with the tables. They are fairly light weight which wouldn’t be a problem, but the cute paper tablecloths, for coloring, cover the tables up so much that the kids were constantly bumping the table. We did have a soda spill, but so worth it. The kids loved coloring in-between seconds, thirds, and possibly even fourth servings!
Can’t forget about the special lego character appearances! The kids got so excited to have their picture taken with the life-size lego knight and pirate. The little girl was a bit scared of the pirate so she opted out of that photo. Keep in mind that my boys do not get excited to have their picture taken with many characters, but lego ones? Yes, please!
Lastly, I want to show you the breakfast buffet – my favorite! I could probably do a post all of it’s own just to talk about the breakfast. It was AMAZING! So hard to pick a favorite breakfast item, but the mushrooms were beyond fantastic and so were the biscuits and gravy, and the cream cheese filled beignets! Oh my!
If you have the privilege to head to the Legoland Hotel, the Bricks Family Restaurant is a MUST! BEST BUFFET EVER! The kids and adults all agree!
I was provided with free accommodations at the Legoland Hotel and Bricks Family Restaurant, for review purposes. All opinions expressed are my own.

It was so fun to go along with the family to Legoland. Bricks restaurant was so AMAZING! They really got it right, and were so, so attentive to little people. Not only were there tons of kid friendly options, but there was anything you needed to stay nutritionally correct. If you didn’t see it, they would get it for you – they were that attentive.
