Have you ever been driving in your car and without even realizing it, you started bobbing your head, or shaking your body to the beat of the music playing on the radio? Then you slowly look over to the cars next to you to see if they noticed anything! Hey, it happens! Some songs just have a fantastic beat that makes you want to get up and move!
I have never had the privilege of attending a real Zumba class, but I would venture to say the music is similar to Zumba for Wii. People supposedly get onto iTunes after class, so they can start downloading the music from their class. I recently had the opportunity to review the Zumba® EXHILARATE™ BODY SHAPING SYSTEM DVD Set, and I absolutely loved it! When I pop any one of the included DVDs in, I feel like I am in a real class, but without anyone else being able to see me shakin’ it! If you are self conscious or can’t afford to attend a live class, then this DVD set would be a great option for you. Unfortunately I only got to try the DVDs out once before I was in my car accident. However, I’m going to see if I can get clearance from my chiropractor tomorrow, to start exercising again! I may have to take it slow, but I have got to get moving! My sitter and I have big plans to start shakin’ it every morning after I take the kids to school.

My favorite way to get a workout in, is to hit the Y. They have some fitness equipment in the womens’ locker room, and I like using the treadmill and things there. I’m too self conscious to work out in the big workout room with everyone else!

I love to go walking in the park on the walking trail but when the weather is cold or not good to go out, I need something that I can use to workout in my home. Gym memberships are so expensive and I am jot able to afford that so any exercise that I can do that fits my budget is a plus. I have been struggling with my weight for so long that I am ready to get healthy for me so that I am able to keep up with my grandchildren. Lol!
