Monsters University Kid Review #MonstersUEvent

monsters university

This past Monday I FINALLY got to take the kids to see Monsters University. To be honest, I may have been a tad more excited than the kids because I saw the first half of the film on a recent Pixar Press Trip for Disney, and I have been antsy to see the second half! We had a rainy Monday morning, which is rare for late June, so I figured it would be the perfect time to sneak out and see Monsters University. We took our neighbor with us too. So with 5 kids, I ventured to the theater with popcorn and M&Ms and we had a great time!

The second half (and the first) did not disappoint! I could not believe how much excitement is packed into the second half of the movie! Monsters University is a tale of how two monsters from Monstropolis met and became friends, while learning to became the best scarers they could be. You will learn about setting goals and doing what it takes to achieve them, even when obstacles get in the way.

Monsters University Kid Review

With Monsters University, you will get to meet tons of new characters whom you will likely adore, and there will be plenty of laughs. When we came home from the movie, the kids couldn’t stop talking about their favorite parts, including the two headed monster(s) Terry & Terri. My twins just had to imitate them! Then we set up our own scare simulator in my son’s room, where everyone took turns scaring each other. It was a great afternoon!
