“I participated in a campaign on behalf of Mom Central Consulting for CaringBridge. I received a promotional item as a thank you for participating.”

hope conquers all

Have you or a loved one ever experienced a life-changing illness or event? You can never truly plan enough for these things, and they can really throw you for a loop. For more than 15 years, the nonprofit CaringBridge has served as a lifeline of hope, bringing together families struggling with illnesses and tragedies. Even if you have a strong support system with family, friends, religion, you really can’t have enough people by your side.

Sona Mehring, the founder of CaringBridge wants to share these important collections of stories to inspire hope through her new book, Hope Conquers All. Ranging from young children with cancer, to adults awaiting transplants, these first-person accounts share the importance CaringBridge had in their personal journeys. For uplifting tales to share with those who are in need of love and support, or even to just reflect on how brave these individuals were through such troubled times, learn more about Sona Mehring’s book and how to purchase here: http://caringb.org/hope. All author proceeds will go to CaringBridge, which shows how important this is to Sona Mehring!

I’ve just became aware of Caring Bridge recently as a young couple I know deal with their 4 yr old son’s cancer. It’s a non-intrusive way to keep up with their son’s progress and treatment, and still lend support by making comments and giving encouragement. I think it may also be a vehicle for those afflicted to vent or reach out when they need support and care. It’s a wonderful program.

I just heard of Caring Bridge as a woman I went to high school with is dealing with her own breast cancer and what that means to their family. I think it’s a great website to help us be there for those in need without being intrusive and without them having to answer the same question 50 bijillion times. Thanks for making more people aware!
