13 Hours of Slow Cooking with Arby’s Smokehouse Brisket Sandwich

Eating out and letting someone else cook and do the clean-up is one of my favorite things; especially when the company is good. Don't get me wrong, I do love to cook and bake up yummy treats. I think I get more in the groove of cooking come dinnertime, and lunch is the meal I struggle with most. If I am able to head out and let someone else cook, clean up, and I'm able to get something that tastes homemade, then EVEN BETTER! 

I do know that you can get some good slow cooked flavors with the new Arby's Smokehouse Brisket Sandwich. Arby's takes the time necessary to give a good smoked flavor for their brisket sandwich, by slow cooking it for 13 hours! Combine the low and slow cooked brisket with Gouda cheese, crispy onion straws, BBQ sauce and mayo, and pile it on a toasted bakery-style bun, and you've got yourself one delicious sandwich! 

After attending Disney On Ice last week, my SIL and I stpoped by Arby's for a late night snack. Because the Smokehouse Brisket sandwich doesn't exactly fit my diet, we decided to split it. There is so much flavor and goodness packed into one sandwich that splitting was no big deal. So yummy! This is the kind of sandwich that I like to get on days when I'm not thinking about calories!

  • I had this last week and it was very good. The bread was very soft and slightly sweet. The meat was smoky and meaty and whatever condiments used were perfect!
