Easy Caramallow Dip with New Werther’s Baking Caramels

I am a fan of just about all things caramel! While I can eat caramel anytime of year, it seems that Fall is when I eat more of it due to the fact that it pairs so nicely with the apples that are in season. Each Fall, my kids and I whip up batches of caramel dip for apple dipping. Being able to dip apple slices in caramel dip is just about the only way I can get my kids to eat apples. I figure they are at least getting the fruit into their systems so it’s better than nothing! werther's baking caramels I often use my Mother-in-law’s caramel recipe, but this year I decided to try something even easier. Plus, I found the new Werther’s Baking Caramels and just had to give them a try! My husband LOVES Werther’s Original candies so the caramels have to be just as good right? Well, I’m thinking maybe even better! Do you hate how long it takes to unwrap individual caramels that are wrapped really tight in plastic? The Werther’s Baking Caramels are so much easier to unwrap, and my kids don’t mind helping me with it! Just twist and pull, and out pops the caramel! So for my recipe, I thought I’d add a touch of evaporated milk and some marshmallows to my caramels, for a yummy Caramallow Dip. Turned out great and the kids gobbled it all up – with some apples of course! I personally love to dip bananas in the Caramallow Dip!

Sounds good! Will it harden, or does it stay creamy? Could it be used to coat your fruit, like for a caramel apple?
