Herb Chicken Skillet with Spinach & Tomatoes + Homemade In America Giveaway

There is something rewarding about making a wholesome homecooked meal for the family. I wish I could say I was good about preparing these every single night, but busy schedules and exhaustion tend to get in the way at times. Sometimes we just need something that is quick and easy, or to have someone else take care of the clean up.

If you are like me and are in need of more wholesome meals that you can prepare with a busy schedule, then visit McCormick.com. I was able to go to Walmart and pick up McCormick Basil, Oregano, Black Pepper and Garlic Powder. 

I decided to test out the Herb Chicken Skillet with Spinach and Tomatoes recipe by McCormick, and it was a hit! Using chicken and veggies, in addition to the McCormick herbs, the meal really did feel healthy and rewarding. I can totally see turning this recipe into a tasty soup soon too! The kids loved the flavor of the chicken and gobbled it all up. It definitely felt like a meal that I could be proud of, and it took just 5 minutes to prepare and 25 minutes to cook!

    McCormick spices are awesome… their ground oregano is simply THE best. I use it all the time! 🙂

    My favorite McCormick spice is the Garlic Powder. I sprinkle that on just about everything (aside from sweets). I especially love it on slices of avocados.

    The McCormick Curry Powder is great to add to lots of dishes and curry sauces, as well as egg salad.

    I’ll be using a lot of their cinnamon sticks this fall for recipes. There’s a crock-pot recipe called “Witches Brew” that is meant to fill the house with the “smell of fall”. It calls for several cinnamon sticks!

    It’s a toss up among the oregano, basil, garlic powder and cinnamon. All good, and all used a lot in our house

    They used to have a Roasted Garlic & Herb one that I loved, but I can’t seem to find it anymore, so Garlic powder is our go-to and then I add in others

    my favorite is the beef stroganoff spice mix but i also buy all the standards, pepper and so on from mccormick i like quite a few of them

    I love their garlic powder. I’m not a good enough cook to make my own spaghetti sauce, but I always spruce up the jarred stuff with McCormick garlic salt, onion powder, parsley and basil. McCormick makes me a good cook to my family!

    The LEMON_ PEPPER !!! Oh my !! It’s the best blend and no comparison to others on the market.
