“I participated in a campaign on behalf of Mom Central Consulting for Welch’s. I received product samples to facilitate my review, and a promotional item as a thank you for participating.”
Welch’s and I have something in common; we both believe in the magic of “kitchen table” moments. Food brings people together in extraordinary ways, and so many great things can happen around that kitchen table. We each have a role to play when it comes to making those good moments happen around the table. Sometimes they happen unexpectedly, and other times you just know it’s going to be a good time when you come together at the table. Welch’s has been helping families enjoy those moments for generations.
To celebrate these moments that we often share around the table, Welch’s has launched the “Share what’s good” Photo Contest. From 9/16 to 10/25 anyone can upload a photo of their favorite family moment for a chance to win $5,000! Not only will you be sharing that “good moment” with your family, but you can possibly win big for doing so! Sounds pretty rewarding to me. Simply visit Sharewhatsgood.com to enter. Even better, get your whole family to participate for some competitive fun! You can also visit Welch’s facebook page to see more about the contest.
This contest has me thinking about “what’s good” and aside from spending quality time with my kids, there is one thing in particular that came to me. I got to thinking about what I would do if I had one hour of quality time every day. I feel like this is rare, but I really enjoy getting the kids to bed and having an hour to watch a movie or a show with my husband (undistracted), while snacking on something tasty. We could snuggle up on the couch and just “be” together. Unfortunately work and laundry often get in the way of having that be an undistracted time together, but “if” I had that time, that’s what I would do. I think we need to work on making that time happen more often, because it’s easy for things to get in the way of quality time.
What would YOU do if you had an hour of quality time every day?
