On my recent California vacation with my family, we made sure to stop by Disneyland and California Adventure. Picking the hotel is super important to me and we were lucky to be accommodated by the Crowne Plaza Anaheim Resort. All opinions expressed are my own.
When planning vacations, one of the most stressful aspects for me is booking hotels. The things I stress about are the price, location, comfort, enough beds, parking fees and is breakfast included? Too many factors to consider but they are all important – especially when planning a Disneyland vacation. If you aren’t familiar with the layout of Disneyland, the roads and the many hotels, it can be quite frustrating to figure out a great location for your Disneyland lodging. Luckily there are maps online, and some hotels offer a free shuttle to and from the park. But planning can still be tricky. The last two times I have visited Disneyland we have been sleeping comfortably at the Crowne Plaza Anaheim Resort.
The Crowne Plaza Anaheim Resort is not the closest hotel to Disneyland, but that doesn’t matter because they offer a free shuttle to and from the park. The shuttle comes every half an hour so you can come and go to the park as you please. After a long day of walking around the parks, it is quite nice to be able to relax on the shuttle as you head back to your hotel.
If you are looking for a budget hotel then the Crowne Plaza might not be the top of your list. I wouldn’t say it is an expensive hotel, but you definitely get some nicer features than the budget hotels. Valet parking is offered, but not required, and the main lobby is quite beautiful and welcoming.
If you have time to relax by the pool, then you are in luck because with little cabanas and lounge chairs, The Crowne Plaza has it made. On our summer trip to Disneyland as part of our California vacation, we didn’t stay enough days to have time for the pool. We crammed every last minute we could into Disneyland and California Adventure. One of these days, we will plan a longer visit to Anaheim and take some time for a swim in the middle of a Disneyland packed day. Sounds heavenly!
I don’t know about you guys, but when we do our Disneyland vacations, we play hard all day long. That means we are exhausted come bedtime. When we come back to our room we just want to crash! Sometimes I quite enjoy a nice soak in the tub, to relax all my aching muscles. Forget about the nonsense of tossing and turning because the beds and pillows are uncomfortable. I assure you that we always sleep well when staying at the Crowne Plaza Anaheim Resort.
