Hershey’s Cheesecake Brownies

by Emily Buys 99 Comments

disclosure

Hershey's Cheesecake Brownies

Chocolate, chocolate, chocolate! My mouth is salivating at even the mere thought of chocolate right now. As I have mentioned before, Hershey’s is bringing smiles to faces all over with their new spreadable chocolate. Smooth and creamy chocolate and a spoon are two things that just go hand-in-hand. Quite literally for some actually!

Hershey's Spreads

I’ll tell ya one thing for sure; I had to hide my jars of Hershey’s Spreads from my kids because they could devour them in no time at all. Have I mentioned that I have one child in particular who likes to wake up before everyone else, and sneak into things such as chocolate and whipped topping? Oh my it is true, and I don’t know if he will ever grow out of it. That boy has a sweet tooth on him. So, I can only purchase my Hershey’s Spreads when I am ready to use it in a recipe, or share it with the kids. I just never know if it will be around long enough to create something divine!

Hershey's Cheesecake Brownies

After receiving the three flavors of Hershey’s Spreads: Chocolate, Chocolate with Hazelnut and Chocolate with Almond, I immediately began thumbing through cookbooks, searching Pinterest and experimenting with different uses for the delicious spreads. I will be posting some of my favorite pairings in a couple of days, but for now I want to share a fantastic recipe that my mom came up with. When she heard that I had “jars” of chocolate at my house, she insisted I share the goods. Hm, I wonder where my son gets his major sweet tooth from! In exchange for my generosity in sharing, my mom agreed to help create a recipe with her choice of Hershey’s Spreads.

Hershey's Cheesecake Brownies

Using the Chocolate with Hazelnut Hershey’s Spreads, we have something amazing to share with you. WARNING: These Hershey’s Cheesecake Brownies are very rich and satisfying! Beginning with a rich chewy layer of brownies hinted with hazelnut, and ending with a hazelnut cheesecake layer on top of the brownies, each bite is pure decadence!

OH MY GOODNESS!!! I believe I’ve gone to Chocolate Heaven!!! I can-NOT wait to try this!! I looked for this in my local grocery last week, because seeing the commercials of this makes me want to go out & try new recipes & improvising the Hersheys’ Spread for a frosting, topping, spread, or even maybe just an added ingredient – and my store does not carry this item as of yet!!! And then a few days later, I see you posted this recipe for the Hersheys Cheesecake Brownies – Lol! What a great combination & ingenious idea!!! Cheesecake and Hersheys Chocolate!!! 🙂 I had heard the Hersheys Spread was Hersheys answer to the Nutella – I have never purchased the Nutella – and NEVER will!! But you can sure bet your sweet chocolatey goodness I’ll be purchasing Hersheys Spreads (whenever my local grocery store starts carrying it!!!)
