Over the last two and a half years I feel as though I have slowly been losing myself, and my health. My mental health and physical health haven’t been at their best, but at the end of last year I decided that 2014 would be different. This is going to be my year for regaining myself in as many aspects as possible, and creating a balanced lifestyle. I definitely don’t think these changes are going to come all at once, and some of them may require the entire year. Rather than make a list of things I want to do, I thought I’d share with you some things that I AM GOING to do!
- Spend more “quality” time with my kids.
- Feel more confident.
- Be able to zip my boots up without any trouble.
- Be happy with what I see in the mirror.
- Have peace in my home.
- Be stronger in my faith.
- Have a healthier outlet for stress, instead of fatty foods.
These are just a few of the changes I plan to make this year. I’d love for you to comment with some changes that you hope to make!
With help from the new Skinny Cow Divine candies and the many new Lean Cuisine meals, I think I am off to a great start for creating a healthier outlet for my stress. Less fast food is definitely a good thing! Breakfast and Lunch are meals that I struggle with. I often skip breakfast because I am busy, and then I find myself hitting up a drive thru, all too often for lunch. I really dislike planning and preparing elaborate meals for lunch, and I don’t like eating the same thing over and over again. Lean Cuisine takes the thinking out of mealtime because they are so quick and easy to prepare. With even more options in 2014 everyone is sure to find something to eat and enjoy!
On a recent Walmart outing, I picked up the following Lean Cuisine meals:
- LEAN CUISINE® Sesame Chicken
- LEAN CUISINE® Simple Favorites™ Macaroni and Cheese
- LEAN CUISINE® Morning Collection™ Turkey Sausage English Muffin
- LEAN CUISINE® Wrap ADDITIONS™ Creamy Balsamic Chicken
- LEAN CUISINE® Stuffed Pretzels Three Cheese & Spinach Stuffed Pretzels
If you are nervous about trying any of the Lean Cuisine meals, never fear because they have a money-back guarantee when purchased at Walmart! Try any 10 LEAN CUISINE® entrees for ten days and if you don’t believe you feel great after 10 days, they’ll refund the cost of your 10 days of entrees, up to $25.00, plus any sales tax thereon. Mail UPCs, receipt and Official MBG form.
The Wrap Additions and Stuffed Pretzels are new for me so I am excited to add them to my mealtime repertoire. I tried the Stuffed Pretzels today, and they were seriously tasty! No dipping sauce required because they have enough flavor packed into each bite. Now for a little dessert…
I have yet to meet a Skinny Cow treat that I didn’t like, but the new Divine chocolates are simply that – divine! With three caramel (or peanut butter) filled chocolates in a package, and 130 calories, they are all that I need for a little pick me up, and sweet tooth fix. Compared to the 250-300 calories in many candy bars, the Skinny Cow Divine chocolates are definitely a better option. Rather than feeling like I’m missing out on something good, I feel like I’m getting more of a high quality treat!
If you like adding a beverage to your meals, or snacktime, then be sure to check out the new CoffeeMate Better For You Sugar-Free Vanilla! I personally don’t like to drink my calories so this will be a great option for those of you that agree! I like to add this creamer to certain homemade treats too!
