I’ve said it already this month and I’ll say it again, 2014 is going to be my year! This is the year that I get my life and my health back under control. When I say health, I mean that of my physical health and my mental health. Those of you who are mothers can likely relate to what it is like to get a little lost from time to time, what with taking care of everybody else! Then there are the husbands that can take up just as much, if not more, time and energy! Over the past couple of years I may have lost my way in some respects, but I am here to get back on track, and thrive more than ever!
At the end of 2013 I lost about 160 lbs in a matter of days. After dropping that weight, I vowed to get myself healthy and drop some of my own weight. Feeling confused? After 11 years of marriage, my husband and I decided that we would be better for each other, and to our children, if we don’t live under the same roof. Hence the 160 lb weight loss. π So, with what I hope to be less negativity in my life, I am feeling very motivated and ambitious to get healthier, and lose the extra pounds that I have gained over the course of the past two and a half years. I am finding new outlets for my stress, than food! Don’t worry, you will still find yummy recipes from me!
Because I have been desperately wanting to lose weight for a while now, I have looked into many options for aiding me in my endeavor. I recently discovered the MinuteClinic Weight Loss Program at select CVS/pharmacy stores. If you aren’t familiar, MinuteClinics are walk-in clinics located in select CVS/pharmacy stores in 28 states and DC.They are open 7 days a week with evening hours and you donβt need to make an appointment. With family nurse practitioners and physician assistants on staff, you can get answers and help with much of what ails you! Back to the Weight Loss Program…
Visit MinuteClinic to start your year off right with a medically based weight loss program just for you! Start with an initial health assessment, and continue to receive support from the on-staff nurse practitioner. You can also sign up for an online membership, which provides support in between visits. I believe that ongoing coaching breeds success in one’s weight loss journey. I haven’t given this particular program a try, but if you live near a MinuteClinic then it really might be worth checking out.
Perhaps your goal is to get healthy, but not because of a weight problem. MinuteClinic also offers help to quit smoking. Join the MinuteClinic Smoking Cessation Program. This isn’t a problem that I have, but I imagine having someone by yourself every step of the way is paramount to one’s success. It definitely couldn’t hurt!
I hope that you are able to achieve all of your goals this year! Just know that there is help out there! You can also connect with MinuteClinic on Twitter!
