Sometimes life doesn’t suck…well, yeah it does with the new Dyson DC59 Vacuum! I have just discovered my newest favorite household appliance. Sweeping and picking up debris with a dustpan is one of my least favorite chores. I have been known to sweep up a pile and leave it, resulting in children and dogs running through the middle of my pile. Then I’m back to square one, where I have to sweep it all up again “silly me”. With the Dyson DC59 Stick Vacuum, now sold at Best Buy, I don’t have to worry about debris piles anymore!
This baby is cordless and has a Dyson V8 Battery that mounts on a handy rechargeable base. Pop it off and you’re good to go! The Dyson DC59 comes with a variety of attachments, making all those hard-to-get-to places manageable. Living in a two-story house has it’s advantages. Cleaning the stairs is not one of them. I have always had to lift and carry a heavy vacuum up and down each and every step, just to get it clean. Pain in the rear!! With my handy dandy stick vacuum there is no heavy lifting, and I don’t have to stop and unplug to find a closer outlet each time I move. Weighing in at just 4.65 lbs, I can tote this Dyson up and down the stairs as much as needed. Just be careful not to stand it up on it’s own because it is top heavy. The bagless vacuum has a cylinder at the top, which holds all of the picked-up debris. With the pull of a lever one end of the canister opens up and you can easily dump into the garbage can.
Back to the suck power. In the past, I would get super frustrated at vacuuming along walls and baseboards because the suction would never come close enough to get along the cracks. I would have to whip out the hose to get any debris from cracks. With 3 times the suction of any other cordless vacuum in, the Dyson DC59 does not encounter this problem! I vacuum right up to the walls and cabinets and everything gets sucked up!! Because of the sleek design, I can zip under stools, cabinets, couches, and just about anything I need to. The head also swivels to move in any direction you may need.
I have hard floors for most of my downstairs, with some large area rugs and a bit of carpeting. The Dyson DC59 moves between hard floor and carpeted areas without giving it a though. Smooth transition and the power isn’t affected! It does an excellent job! So, I am able to use this bad boy for all of my flooring needs!
